St Patrick’s Day in Savannah
The St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Savannah, GA is a day packed with Irish heritage, great music, lots of fun and lots of green. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, held every year on March 17th, is one of the largest in the United States. Marching bands, dancers and people riding elaborate floats come to Savannah from all over the country to participate in the parade. Although the parade begins promptly at 10:15am, road closures will start as early as 6:30am.
